Local 84 Members interested in submitting their name to receive consideration and be appointed by the President of Local 84 to be a representative on the Negotiating Committee, please review the following information.

Nominations will be taking place at all quarterly meetings in January, and all monthly meetings in February. All CDC guidelines will continue to be followed at meetings, social distancing, masks; etc. Please do not attend meetings if you are sick or under quarantine.

ARTICLE VII

Committees and Delegates

Sec. 5. (a) Each Unit shall select a representative, to be appointed by the President, to serve

                   on the full Georgia Power Company negotiating committee.

             (b) All other negotiating committee representatives will be appointed by the

                   President.

             (c) Any member who cannot be present or who wishes to be nominated as a

                  candidate for a member of the Negotiating Committee can submit a letter to the Unit

                  Chairman and/or Unit Recorder indicating his willingness to accept such nomination.
