IBEW Local 84 welcomes you to our website. Chartered on July 24th, 1899, Local 84 now represents over 4000 men and women in the electrical industry across Georgia. Our members work at Georgia Power Company, Southern Nuclear, Amicalola EMC, Sawnee EMC, and multiple Outside Contractors. Our mission is to organize all workers in the electrical industry in order to provide a voice in the workplace, secure a higher standard of living, obtain security on the job and in retirement, and to promote safe and reasonable methods of work. If you are interested in forming a Union, feel free to contact us.

UNIT MEETING UPDATES
October Unit 84.2 Athens meeting has been rescheduled from Tuesday, October 13th to Tuesday, October 20th.
October Unit 84.10 Carrollton-Newnan meeting has been rescheduled from October 13th to October 20th
October Unit 84.1 Outside unit meeting has been rescheduled from Wednesday, October 7th to Wednesday, October 21st.
October Unit 8 Brunswick unit meeting scheduled October 15 has been CANCELED
