IBEW Local 84 welcomes you to our website. Chartered on July 24^th, 1899, Local 84 now represents over 3000 men and women in the electrical industry across Georgia. Our members work at Georgia Power Company, Southern Nuclear, Amicalola EMC, Sawnee EMC, and multiple Outside Contractors. Our mission is to organize all workers in the electrical industry in order to provide a voice in the workplace, secure a higher standard of living, obtain security on the job and in retirement, and to promote safe and reasonable methods of work.
